2. Products

All products sold by Vida Bakery are freshly prepared and baked to order.

Our products are gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free. However, they are produced in a kitchen that handles other ingredients and therefore we cannot guarantee that products are completely free from traces of allergens.

Customers with severe allergies should contact us before placing an order.

Product images on the website are for illustration purposes. As our products are handmade, slight variations in appearance may occur.

3. Orders

Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if:

  1. a product becomes unavailable
  2. there is an error in pricing or product description
  3. we suspect fraudulent activity

If an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued.

4. Dispatch and Delivery

Customers may select a dispatch date when placing their order.

The dispatch date refers to the date your order leaves our kitchen.

Delivery times depend on the shipping service selected at checkout.

Standard Delivery

Standard delivery typically arrives within 1–2 working days after dispatch, but this is not guaranteed.

Express Delivery

Express delivery aims to arrive the next working day after dispatch.

5. Courier Responsibility

Vida Bakery works with third-party courier services such as DHL, DPD or Royal Mail

While we carefully prepare and dispatch all orders on the selected dispatch date, delivery is carried out by external courier services and is therefore outside of our direct control.

Occasionally, delays may occur due to:

  1. courier operational issues
  2. weather conditions
  3. transport disruptions
  4. peak seasonal demand

Vida Bakery cannot guarantee delivery times once an order has been handed to the courier.

6. Delays

In the event of a courier delay:

  1. we will assist customers in tracking their order
  2. we will liaise with the courier where possible

However, Vida Bakery cannot be held liable for delays caused by third-party delivery providers.

Refunds are not provided solely due to courier delays unless the order is confirmed lost.

7. Failed Deliveries

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

Vida Bakery is not responsible for failed deliveries due to:

  1. incorrect address information
  2. absence at delivery location
  3. restricted access to property

If a parcel is returned to us, a redelivery charge may apply.

8. Product Shelf Life and Storage

Our products are fresh baked goods and should be consumed within the timeframe indicated on the product packaging.

Storage instructions are provided with each product.

Improper storage may affect product quality and Vida Bakery cannot be responsible for deterioration once the product has been delivered.

9. Cancellations and Amendments

Due to the nature of fresh food production, orders cannot be cancelled or modified within 48 hours of the selected dispatch date.

10. Refunds

As our products are perishable food items, we generally cannot accept returns.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the issue.

We will review each case and may offer:

  1. a replacement
  2. store credit
  3. a partial or full refund

at our discretion.

11. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Prices may change at any time without notice.

12. Website Use

You agree not to use this website:

  1. for unlawful purposes
  2. to transmit viruses or malicious software
  3. to interfere with the operation of the website

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vida Bakery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed.
